[IMG]http://i1126.photobucket.com/albums/l612/burnhamshaun/cosworth/b3237eed.jpg[MG]

Passenger seat anchor point needs cutting out/replacing

Drivers side gearbox tunnel

no where near as bad as passenger side passenger side seat anchor point seems solid to me and drivers footwell will also need a little bit doing I have prepped as best I can Ie removed most of the black sound proofing mats and removed underseal back to bare metal as best I can and just sprayed with a little black hammerite to protect untill work is done but can't seem to find anyone who's interested in doing it like I said I want a proper job doing not just plating up seats carpet etc are also all removed well drivers and passenger seat are in as it's used every day atm

Same places mines gone bud..... would ideally like mine welded up before the winter so I can set to minting the interior up and putting it all back in.

Likewise mate mines a daily runner and really don't want it getting worse and is there any reason they designed the floor to have holes in it

Tunnel rot normally start from the jacking point. Have a look to see it's been jacked up on it.
This is one I did for a mate.
Jacking point crushed to floor.

Causes panel seams to split an can rot. Tunnel triple skin underside.

Inside drivers floor rots

Under the sound mat it looks a mess

Repair patches going in.

Sealed up. Welds not flushed off to keep them strong and as there not seen it doesn't matter.

From the outside there is little to see of the plates as there mostly under the jacking point.

Mine went in the same place apart from the sills, I went out a purchased a MiG welder and had a go myself and found it quite easy, if you are methodical and take your time you should be ok I practiced on some scrap sheet metal to get the setting right first,

1, Cut out the rot I used a Dremel with a speed click metal cutting discs
2, Clean and treat any surface rust you find beneath
3, spray all bare surfaces with a couple of coats of weld through primer
4, and if you want grind down the welds for that profesional look

Drivers footwell

Gearbox tunnel

Drivers seat mounting point

Good to see you got stuck in. Seat mounts are a pain as they seem to rot around the spot welds for the underside plate. Usually as you have done the hole inner part need to be replaced.

Yeah I think I was lucky and caught mine in time, but needed to re-inforce the bracket part to give it a bit of strenth.

As i said ubove mate just take your time and don't try to rush things if you have a go yourself that is, I would'nt be able to do work for other's because I'm to FU**ing slow I'm just to fussy for my own good.

Yes mate if you think he he is up to the job then yea I'd appreciate it but it would need to be done in 2-3 days max and I'd want a proper job doing not just plating show him the pics see what he thinks

exactly the same for me. same rot places. i have had the left hand side done by andyescos on here and he done a fab job. just got to do the right hand side which is worse/bad and along a little bit of the sill. i am tempted to buy my own mig welder and do it myself but id rather have a pro like andy do mine. my passenger side seat mount was salvaged but the right hand side will need a lot of work doing to it. good luck with yours.
