Default Oil temp sensor

I'm putting a few gauges into my DOHC saph, and one is an oil temp sensor. Where can I fit the sender? Can I just T off the pressure switch or will that inhibit it's operation? I don't have an oil pressure gauge, so I don't have a filter sandwich plate. Cheers

I used the sandwich plate way between the oil filter. I run both Oil Temp and Pressure from that sandwich plate and it seems to work ok.

Cheers fellas, will go with the sump bung idea (it's leaking anyway) Will get a truer idea of oil temp as it's away from the really hot part of the block

Reading will be less true, as it isn't absorbing heat from engine in the sump and being cooled by ambient air flow, personally I would use a adaptor in the oil pressure hole, can retain the std pressure switch also that way.
If you want to use a temp sensor in the drain plug, drill a 11/32 hole, then simply tap 1/8 NPT-27, the drill and tap will most likely cost less than a ebay one already done.
