Default Gauges, most important?

With the Lolvo project moving along nicely, I'm turning my attention to the inside, namely where to mount the gauges as "Q car" is key here, so no A pillar or dash mounted pods! So we're having to get creative, but it also means room is an issue in terms of how many we can fit.

Other than a boost and wideband, what else would you recommend to keep an eye on things? Oil pressure/temp?

Ben.

Default Gauges, most important?

Oil pressure, fuel/air, boost and I've wired up a separate voltage gauge to my fuel pump wiring so I can always check what voltage there is on boost, very handy on a Cossie!

Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, AFR and Boost.

Then a SECS monitor or similar ECU interface so you can check coolant temp, Air inlet temp, TPS Calibration etc.

If you want discreet, then get a multi function display.

Whether round or square type of dash.

PLX Devices do some nice round multifunction gauges, where one gauge can do pretty much anything, albeit you need separate control modules.

That's actually a cracking idea, good shout! Never looked into them though, what are the control modules for?

Each sensor requires a control module which then sends info to the gauge.

Or if the ecu in the car is OBD compliant, you can get it to display the data that way
