Default problem with my lambda on xr2i 1.8

i have just gone to go start my car and it wouldnt start i did try a few times before poppin the bonnet.

and i have found to my horror my lambda sensor had snapped off at the exhaust manifold but when this has happened the wire must have became loose and the plug end that attatches to the loom has touched the manifold an melted itself together.

do ford sell the plugs that are on the loom end? as i will need to cut and fit a new one to mine now.

also where is the best place to get a new lambda all i now is its a red plug lambda i will get the ford serial number off it if need be.

what i would like to ask is i have got a phase 1 mondeo and i wondered could i take the plug off that?

how would i fit it too the loom would i have to solder it at the plug or am i better off leaving a bit of wire and crimping the new plug on?

There's two main types of sensor, but you can tell which is which by the wire colours used, there's also different operating ranges too.
What colour wires are they, if the same as the mondy and same size fitting then yes you can use it, it would be easier to crimp the wires together, but if you need a connector pm me.
