Default Changing Escort Clocks

I currently just have the bog standard speedo clocks in my escort, I want to change them for the GTi/Si clocks with the rev counter. Can I simply just swap them over?

My car: 1997 1.6 16v Escort Chicane.

it isnt simply a case of swapping the clocks over as the rev counter wont work. you will need all the connections for the rev counter from the donor car

Will the wires for the rev counter be on the loom in my car, so I can wire up the revcounter with the connection to the car?

If the clocks are the same ignition type ie coilpack then all that's needed as said is a feed from one side of the coil, ie a negative, which is the outer wires on the coilpack, just see what colour they are and use one.
Getting the old connector from the car the clocks came from is always a good idea as you can see any differences then and copy them, on the older fords it was only a case of moving 1 wire and adding 1 more when going to tacho.
