Default Leaky sump

Changed the sump gasket on my rst tightened all bolts according to the manual and now have oil exiting under pressure but only after the engine has stopped cranking. Any ideas as to what this could be?

Is it at the timing belt end or the gearbox end?
Its usually the gearbox end that leaks after a sump gasket change, its a stupid design and some people will go as far as to remove the gearbox to ensure the gasket doesn't kink or move when fitting.

The leak is from dead central in the sump only on the driveshaft side.

Although you tightened it as recommended I would also say that when fitting a seam of instant gasket just to make sure you get a seal. When I first did it took me 4 attempts.

Best mod is to improve the crankcase breathing.

the sump gasket can be a bit tricky on these the best thing is a bit of sealer and let it dry 1st so none goes into the oil which can block oil galleries and the pick up, but also try group a breather system the standard breathers as much use as a kick in the bollocks

When you guys say about these breather systems what do you mean as i had put one on but i didn't know if that was the cause. I'll post some pics of it.

When the pressure inside the block becomes high, the sump gasket fails easily and a gasket that wouldn't leak normally starts to leak. A good modified breather system let's the crankcase gases out with much less restriction.
