Default is this a forged piston ro a standard zetec one??

can anyone tell me if this piston is a forged one or a standard zetec piston? the bore size is 86mm, i can't see any numbers but hopefully the valve cut out may give it away??

any help would be great

Looks like a Vauxhall C20XE piston. Unlikely to be forged, most likely LPC - however this is fine!

There are no OE 86mm Zetec pistons, so that answers that question!

As seen here:

Mine being Accrilite as you can see.

my pistons look identical to sa pjo's, are these any good? im only asking as im rebuilding the car, ive been sourcing parts for the following engine:
refurbished 2.0 (not 2.1) zetec block,
balanced crank and pulley
wiseco forged low compression pistons
farndon h section rods

im building this new engine with the intention of mating it with either a gt turbo or a stage 3 hybrid t3 with the boost set to between 15 - 20psi depending on how the fueling is

well im after a reliable 200+, 230 would be nice but im more interested with the torque and how it drives, I want it to pull nd pull and pull right up to 6000rpm, i think I will continue with my first plans and sell this block as it is and build the steel one for piece of mind
