if you are running a level 6 ecu which you most probably are if its 2wd then it is just the chip that you have to plug in.
be really carefull when you do it though as the pins are really fragile.

you will probably need a roling road session to get it set up right as well.

sorry if im teaching you to suck eggs but you do know that if you go beyond stage 1 then you wil also need to change the map sensor and uprate the injectors as well dont you?

btw have you found that map sensor yet?

not sure were it is on a cossy cause mine is totaly a totaly different layout.

just follow were the small vac pipes off the inlet plenum go to, your looking for a small black or grey thing that looks like this!
black means she is standard, grey means its a 3 bar and is stage 2/3.

yeah i did discover it and its feckin black from what i can c.

I assume il have to buy the full kit, injectors, chip and map sensor..theres a few goin in the PF mag for around 500 all in.

I used to own a (cough)VX Calibra turbo (ahem!)and fitted the chips to that in the same way, and as well as that im an electronics engineer(amongst other stuff) so I know my way about electronicy stuff.

Theres a small place about 15 miles away that tunes fords, heard its meant to be ok....AVA : il take it up there, thay seem to be ok guys

black map sensor! doh!

yes mate its gunna be the full kit for you then im afraid.
check ebay also as there is always green injectors and map sensors on there.

if your going to run stage 3 (330bhp ish) they recomend you get a 360 bearing in your turbo as well just to take the extra load.
althogh saying that i know plenty of people who run this stage on a standard turbo although the t3 will start to run out of puff at max rpm

if it were me id just do the chip, injectors, and map sensor and then at a later date just ditch the t3 turbo and change it for a t34
depends on how much power you want if you do this as the t34 with the .48 housing is good for 360ish bhp and has little lag or if you go for the t34 with .63 housing they are good for 400bhp but take a while longer to spool up.

ive just put the .63 on mine
