Default Noisy Followers after cam and followers change

Recently I have installed on my 1.6 CVH engine a new newman camshaft and a new set of hydraulic followers newman also.

I have noted that the engine is noisy and sounds as I have mecanical followers. At idle there is a very slight followers sound, but as I rev the engine the sound increases and at aprox 4.000 rpm it sounds like the followers aren´t adjusting properly.

I open the rocker cover to look the followers and they seem to be adjusted correctly. I don`t know what is the problem, or is normal that this followers are noisier than standards?

The camshaft is the newman Road phase 1 for CVH.

Anybody can help me please?

Thanks for the speed!!

When I received the followers they were primed, and because of that I thought that there were no need to put them in oil.

There is NO NEED to do above, there is a device on a car that does that called an oil pump.
What oil are you using, did you follow any bedding in procedure ?
I am not familiar with this cam, but SOME will be noisier as they have steeper ramp angles on the cam, but would not have though that the case with fast road, unless very wild.

Thanks for the responses. I bought the Cam and set of followers at Newman Cams. I am in Spain and I contacted with David. The phase 1 and 2 cams can use hydraulic followers.

I have followed the standard bed-in process. The first half hour the engine was at 2500 rpm and I had used cam lube.

I had done about 400 miles to the cam and the followers noise is the same.
Also the followers when arrived to my home seem to be charged with oil.

Well you have done everything right, maybe they just are noisy owing to the profile, many that have a steep ramp angle are noisy, these tend to higher lift but similar duration to std.

The cam has 256 degrees and 10,49 mm lift. It`s a mild cam, and I think It shouldn`t be noisy with that profile.
