More likely to be 1 or more hyd lifters mate, try an oil change and be sure to use the correct oil to spec, Be best to use a good make oil too and not halfords budget oil lol.
Ya not say how many miles she has done, if its alot could be ready for new lifters if its not been well looked after before.

ya can get hyd lifters off ebay for about 50 quid, realy should of been changed on rebuild mate.
you can only use ones from a like engine but ya cannot be sure they are ok and its a waste of time if they are not.
Best to stick a new set in.

When you rebuilt it did you keep all the lifters in the same positions as where they came from ?
Ie No1 went back to No1, No2 went back to No2 etc...
