Default 1.8 gti engine change

hi again iv got a mk5 1.8 efi and it very sadly blew the bottom end today the pistons went though the side of the block iv brought a mk6 gti 130 bhp engine will this go stight into my car without hassle and will my ecu be ok or will i have to change it and alos will the be a big power gain i was thinking of putting a rst into it but would this be to much trouble would love to hear ppl views thanks

Should be fine aslong as you use your efi inlet manifold not the gti one as they're obviously different,

Oh and the gti's are 115 bhp not 130

Default but will the thotle body work off mine

the only problem iv got in doin the engine change is shall i use the gti inlrt and tb or use mine old one and just change the engine i basically want it to run mint and quicker would be a
