i have just replaced my service bits on my 1.6 cvh xr2i like cambelt, oil filter, fuel filter etc and then when i started it up the revs went really high and just stay there about 5000rpm.does this mean the timing is out or something else???
could poss mean that timing is out
but could also mean air leak in inlet manifold to idle that high try the vac hose that goes to the bake servo
also try disconecting the idle speed controll valve if it still revs high def air leak.
hope this helps
