focus st doesnt start
hi guys im new on here ive just bought a focus st3 56plate bought it as mechanical problem from an insurance company.. ignition comes on it says on the dash-acceleration reduced also says engine system faults can some one help me plz it doesnt turn over just clicks??

Iky theres a specialist ford car elec that i now from brum i had a same problem turned out to be a wire burnt ill get you his num and he is mobile and comes out to you .

Battery empty?
When it clicks when you try to start: what happens to the lights on the dash?
Just to be sure: do you have a spare key? Tried it?

As said it could be a faulty battery or a jammed start motor etc. Have you checked the battery voltage etc?
I can't see any EMS related fault would prevent it from starting, if the battery was a problem this can also cause EMS related problems.
An easy test is to turn the headlights on, if they stay bright after several seconds theres a good chance the battery is ok, if they start bright then go dim then suspect the battery!

i think either my flywheel is broken or the clutch because when car is in gear and i push in the clutch it doesnt move forward and the clutch feels dead..
any ideas if the flywheel has a sensor on it?
