I seriously dunno what you think is in there mate, but there fuck all in there at the mo id call aweseome

As they all stand, the most valuable car in there I think is an un-modified non-sports model Pug206
Tho I spose the AE86 would be worth 5k+ once its got Tax, Mot, a working alternator, setting up, and exhaust, and so on.

Just thought id post up a quick vid, as i fucking LOVE it, fucking aspire to be this geezer, dunno who he is, some Aussie guy, but hes maximum attack, jus how it should be-
http://www.silviasa.com/vids/Tuned_to_Perfection.wmv

Even madder thing is that cars on standard injectors and only about 250bhp, even if he is doing about a million mph and properly smoking them tyres, hes just the shit, my hero already

MrWorth, the Driftworks shop sells FMIC kits for jus over 300quid, or try www.2fast2cool2.com as they do one for similar price, less i think.

Mines the one from 2fast2cool2, and its top quality, and the guy that owns the place is a really really top bloke, dead helpful, as is Phil n James at Driftworks actually, so gotta reccomend either.

Both kits, from what I understand, have the same minor niggles-
You gotta cut the battery tray for the piping, and fit a smaller or rear mounted battery.
The hose clamps look awesome, but arnt ideal (mikalor style).
The hose from alloy elbow after intercooler to main cooler to throttle pipe isnt long enough, by about an inch or so, so need a different one!

Think hes my hero, seriously Never had one of them before, berring hugh heffner, obviously

I dunno, just think i appreciate what hes doing more than most.
Its an awesome video to anyone who sees it, but I realise how rubbish his engine spec is, and hes drifting at speeds normally reserved for 400bhp+ motors SR20'd motors, purely by being totally fearless and balls out to a bigger extent than almost anyone ive seen

Ive been a bit busy again...

Ive never like the standard S13 induction pipe, tiny bore, and made up of gay ruffled pipe.

So i just made my own large bore metal turbo inlet pipework and super huge filter!

And it cost me....

NOWT!

Its made up of a supreme collection of standard and aftermarket parts I had lying around from...

R32GTR Skyline
MG ZT
4x4 Saphire Cosworth
Renault 5 GT Turbo

Seriously

The induction pipe is about the same length as standard, but made of metal, with shallower smoother bends, and is nealry FOUR INCH bore right from turbo to AFM.

The air filter is pretty huge and is capable of flowing well over 500bhp with no restriction, over 5 times the size of your average HKS piece of crap.

The AFM and filter now sits sideways (ie sitting from left to right) between the engine and radiator.
No way of doing this with standard viscous fan and shroud, as would be no room, but fine with my setup.

Bits of wiring needed re routing, but generally it wasnt a problem, but took a LOT of working out.

Now its just the AFM thats a huge potential restriction, lol, need some MAP based managment!

Cold airflow should be massivley increased to the filter, even more so on my car as it sits directly below the big hole i cut in the bonnet.

Bet it sounds a whole lot better too

Here is pics of the new setup, almost totally metal, even under the rubber hoses, its almost all metal.
Measured the piming compared to standard, and it ranges from 1 to 1.5 inches bigger apart from at the AFM and at the turbo inlet, obv.

Heres how it sits under the vent (well sort of, it site straighter than that), think might put a bag over the AFM plug, just to keep any water out, and NO, im NOT putting a scoop, FFS...

Heres a closeup

Overall views

Should be pretty effective TBH, as im totally unconvinced of the standard setup.

Theres about 2inches between filter/AFM and rad for a fan, but thats a little too thin for my fans.

Plenty of room on the other side to fit blower fans though, are they just as effective or?

TBH im getting WELL fucked off with not using the car, i dont like building them or modding them, i like using the effects of the mods!
Im stuck with K1 bullshit at mo, fucks me off, I need to use this bastard motor...

Close tho...

After certain nobheads decided to not give me the 5stud conversion spacers they offered me I decided to stop fucking about and do it the proper way and fit S14 hubs and arms and brakes and and and...

Can use S13 front arms if want, but S14 ones give slightly wider track, so thought id use em.

Started on the front...

Old stuff came off without too much grief, something about Nissans, the nuts etc dont rust up too bad like other cars...

Quickly mounted the 5stud hub to see what the Work Equips will look like...

Cant beat a bit of angle grinding, esp with all the complex safety equipment i like to wear...

What I was doing was chopping the lock stops off the S14 arms in preperation for lots of steering angle mods

Thanks to ProAlloy A load of fueltank baffle foam arrived too.

Once I get paid on wednesday ill order Tein tie rods, Piro tie rod ends, poly rack bushes, alloy steering bush, and steering rack spacers.

Actually ill prob get some tension rods too..

You what? You clown!
Its not exactly secure without the jack, it didnt leave it holding the car up for fun! Why you think it was well blocked in by the bumper etc etc that youdve had to have move to get it out?
Hope you fucking put it back, there a few other jacks in the metal shed you couldve used anyhow, why you use that one for, one that was helping supporting my car! (its not even a work one BTW, its Rentons)

This is why I dont like leaving anything in there half done and lock everything up in the car, people always fuck with your stuff
My fucking tool kit randomly gets smaller by about 1 socket a week too, and people wonder why Renton keeps his tool boxes locked up

I work with goons

Nah its ok, it wasnt particularly safe as it was, but I went down on monday and secured it and put the car up in the air on 4 axle stands now so its happy days.

Heres some quick cameraphone pics after I put the Trampdrift logos on...

BTW thats not a Nurburgring sticker you can see, its a pisstake one of the inner ring road of Cheltenham, where I live, thought it represent, lol

Payday today so gonna order some stuff for the car, and get it ready for its first actual competition (rather than jus pissing about), here...

And IMO everyone who wants top get in to it but dunno where to start should come too, its a 900mile round trip for me, but the roadtrip and pissup is part of the fun!
So dont be pussys and come along to Drampdrift 1000!

Unless its front AND rear R33GTST disks, calipers, pads, and brake lines, for less than 180quid, then no need, as already sorted a set at that price.
