Engine conversion on a GTi body
HI Guys
Im new to the site as i want to buy a mates Escort GTi (R-reg) and put a 2 litre turbo engine in it .
Can anyone point me in the right direction .
Engine / gearbox / wiring looms etc will be needed any idea's where to get these from ?
Any advice tips on this type of project ? Or anythign to watch out for ?

that won't help speak to some peeps on here and they will give you the phone number for zoo motor sport but it would be easier to drop a 2.0 zetec in the bay instead

I need a turbo and want to get a cosworth lump but anything close to that would be good . so i hear there is a 2 litre zetec lump with a turbo ?? is this a good engine ?

no the 2.0 zetec is not a turbo lump as far as i know,
