tommy is doing the dyno session on the engine in the very near future but will prob be after crimbo now as money is a tad tight now

ITS FOOKING FINISHED & READY TO COLLECT
collecting it on saterday or sunday so will have picks up by sunday night
also had confirmation that my exhaust manifold will be ready to send out to me by monday,,,heres some pics of the original protoype , mine will be identical
massive thanx to hansenturbo (brian)
also got my new front brake lines made up in proper -3 earls braided hose,,,,,fom caliper brided line to master cylinder,,,
will measure the backs when my bias valve is fitted and have them made the same,,,:cool!:

finally fitted my bonnet pins today,,,well finished em today is more truthful,,lol
as rolls suggested it was far easier to cut the inner skin of the bonnet out where needed to make drilling the holes etc easier,,,,so i did & it made life alot easier,,,

also dummy fitted the fuel cell and mounted it etc,, its a 12 gallon tank which some people say is bigger than neded but as im also gonna use this as a road car i dont wanna stop every 5 mins to fill the fooker up
as you can see the car is now bare ready for the interior to be prepped & painted
also completely rubbed the block down bare as it had seven different colours & layers on it & repainted it black with 5 coats of high temp stuff
more in a little while peeps

heres the update ive been waiting for
finally got my custom inlet today from tom scarlet so massive thanx to his dad & him for making it for me ,, copied from the original 1 made for toms own 300+bhp series 1
so here it is
main design avantages were it leaves more space than an efi item,,has side mounted throttle body to keep charge pipe away from turbo and keep ACT's down
also has spun aluminium tumpets for better airflow internally
side mounted throttle body
push in air/vacuum fittings (with spare diferent size fittings)
internal spun alloy trumpets for improved airflow
and hereis is trial bolted to the new head with injectors fitted etc & motorsport rocker cover on
well there it is in all its glory people
again massive thanx to tom & his dad
im realy determined for this xr2 to be the fastest there is in a mk2,,,so am trying to go the extra mile to what is out there already,,
lets hope it pays off
