What holiday?
Went away with work like, got to drink pretty much from 10am-11pm, but had to burn for a week....you and your bloody genes giving me this colouring, thank you very much pop!
Was alright though, could do with not looking at silly Spaniards with too much money and no respects for their own cars. Seen too many Ferrari's and Lambo's been treated like daily runarounds, dents and all ![Sad](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)
Now get your anorexic ass in gear and finish this damn car, and I'll see you at Ford Fair

local engineers said they genrally press them home with a dowel , but wanted to charge a Ł 5 per guide , im just going to put them in the freezer overnight before putting them in the head ,
as rob said you have to ream them , but this is one thing im not clued up on , so if anyone can shed some light ,
i know karls done it before , but not sure on acceptable clearances ?? anyone ??
and yeah i think its a carbide cutter, karl had this one already but toolstores and our local snap on dealer sells them different shapes and profiles,

a reamer makes round holes rounder and it looks like one of these

in the same way that if you tried to drill a big hole in a thin bit of metal it goes a bit wobbly, a reamer makes it round

ok folks with the fabrication work just about a fortnight away from restrating and having a little frustration up to this point ,
i thought a day out at ford fair would inject some much needed enthusiasam to the project ,
and it has ,
anyone who visited the fast ford stand would have seen the two cheesman motorsport escort cosworths running v8's
well thats it for me ,after speaking to the gents who owned them and having thought about it before in the eairly stages of the project ,
im selling the yb and importing a ls2 engine from the usa complete with a 6 speed tremec box ,
so plans for the upcoming fortnight its to get together all the engine components refurb and assemble the engine , then its being sold to fund the new engine ,
i know its detracting for the original design of the car , but everything else will remain the same , colour , setup ,interior ect ,
just with a all alloy 6.0 v8 rather than a 2ltr yb![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
after all the yb routes been done now , i dont know of any big v8s in rst's ?
