so todays update ,
well what can i say ........................ you really know who your mates are lol ,
k and graham have been hard at it today whilst i been at work , cannot begin to thank them enough , and tbh stood at work today i was gutted i wasnt in the garage lol
anyway , popped round before our little road trip to BRAM's gaff , and got a few piccys of todays work ,
k's been on with fabbing up the drivers tub ,
got to say the more i see em the more i love em !!

found time to collect the chassis legs from the blasters and give them a coat of red , to say there mint is an understatement , if is wasnt for the small bit of rout where the spring platforms were id sell them as " n o s " lol

then graham ( rsturbowhite ) " the man of the hour " took it uponn himself to get the lackys work and started on some of the cleaning up

turrets were cleaned for fresh sealer

inner wings were linished were welded up , and sanded back

so there almost ready for primer and filler
and as me and k had welded up the key way for the brake master cylinder , had planned on going the pb route but changed my mind ,
graham then re cut and cleaned it bk to new

not content there lol ,
he then started prepping up where the excess material was where the bulkheads were joined , all thats now needed is a d'a to round off where the two panels meet and a coat of red

full car will be getting a mastic style re seal out of a gun , then when thats set it will get a cpl layers of gravitex stonechip ,
just havent decided wether to do the full underside or just sills and inner arch areas ,
then all painted in good few coats of 2k and lacquer !!!

jamie happy to help anyway i can , if youve read from the beginning its a good insight into whats involved
ohh and ive a brand new mk3 back panel if you need one , was destined to go on mine , but the one on is 99% mint , and well karls going to sort the other 1% lol

ive got my eye on some bits and already got some bits like lights and bumper parts all new, few cossy parts and a shell but struggling with transport for that as its in bristol grrr!
but im sure something will come up but was hoping for 4x4 really
bought a towbar for the wifes car to help with this lol
she is a sport lol
let me know on the panel buddy?
