the only thing that's letting that down is the colours of the front and rear bumpers mate
i'm sure there will be a way to get the strips on the doors carried across to the ends of the bumpers and onto the bits under them it would make it a smoother transition

k also found time to repair the chassis legs rear to refit ,
this is where the spring platforms would be , old topskin removed

you can now see the line of where the chassis leg was origanally via the spotweld holes ,
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/the%20cossie%20s1%20project/17-11-2010011.jpg)
with that karl made a start on the rear turrets , still in the working out stage , obv without the rear end fully set in position theres a few questions were working out , namely height of the turret and if it should have any inward inclination ,
few pics of what it will look like though

should see the shock well out of reach of the wheel ,
and karls decided on a tubular rear welded in brace to help keep everything where it should be , im going to see me old mucka andy @ geronimo cages to bend me up a peice of suitable tube ,
speaking of tube , as ive been allowed out by the missus ,i thought id get on with the new tube front crossmember that andy @ geronimo bent me up ages ago
so first off the 70mm intercooler was fitted on factory cos mount points
big thanks to wenny for loaning me this !

fits like a dream lol and requried no modding lol
but with the fans mounted on front i was unsure the new cm would fit ,
so fans off , crossmember mocked in place ,
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/the%20cossie%20s1%20project/17-11-2010023.jpg)
idea was to have it run parralell and flush inside the front panel , thus keeping airflow restriction to a minimum whist retaining the full front panel,
so after a bit of trimming

![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/the%20cossie%20s1%20project/17-11-2010029.jpg)
the front legs were originally cut back to aid fitting the floor pan , and while they were 99% long enough to fit the cm it didnt look to well , so 60 mm extensions were folded and then i got them welded on , there over length atm , but they will be cut and folded to make up weldable tabs for the front panel
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/the%20cossie%20s1%20project/17-11-2010030.jpg)

whils on with this , k got on with modifying the rear floor as it needed tweaking with the chassis legs mooving inward ,

ohh and unbeknownst to me ,lol when we were last at the auto trade fair k picked up a liter of " stornaway grey " as a cheap colour to paint bits n bobs with ,
anyway , not knowing what cars are painted with that he researched it and it turns out its the gunmetal styley colour of the new range rovers , defenders ect ,
so , the twat painted half me quarter in the stuff , lol
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/the%20cossie%20s1%20project/17-11-2010043.jpg)

its fucking stunning , and its now a 50-50 between this and seal grey ,
and ,........................
considering hes not a painter , the prep consisted of a light da , wipe down and a thin coat of primer , and a poslih after it was dried
id say he done a fucking good job lol ,
so work continues , hopefully k's new swager arrives tomorrow and im off for the steel for the boot ,
will keep you lot posted ,

ohh and unbeknownst to me ,lol when we were last at the auto trade fair k picked up a liter of " stornaway grey " as a cheap colour to paint bits n bobs with ,
anyway , not knowing what cars are painted with that he researched it and it turns out its the gunmetal styley colour of the new range rovers , defenders ect ,
so , the twat painted half me quarter in the stuff , lol

its fucking stunning , and its now a 50-50 between this and seal grey ,
and ,........................
considering hes not a painter , the prep consisted of a light da , wipe down and a thin coat of primer , and a poslih after it was dried
id say he done a fucking good job lol ,
so work continues , hopefully k's new swager arrives tomorrow and im off for the steel for the boot ,
will keep you lot posted ,

hi Beefy i was wondering how the chassis legs was going to fit, i still think it would be easier to cut 6"out of center line of the floor and bring the whole lot in 3" ether side but that works and looks great!!, still cant get over the fab and welding quality, FAULTLESS!!. Id like to see a metallic grey imo
lol,

its 6 n 2 -3s billy regards the cutting , but rember you would still have to add with to the tubs ect , so this was imho is more thorough , allows you to chec and tweak evrything as it goes in for a complete look ,
also the idea of removing the legs ect allowed us to blast them , thus removing any rot lurking in the inside , and making sure its 1000% rot free, even in the places you cant see,
been thinking about this for the last day or so and as after discussions with k the tanks going in the boot ,
im thinking about a carbon undertray for the rear , just to be a little different ,
now dont want to look garish or ott , but had the idea off a escos i saw recently lol ,
sometheing like this ?
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/rss1rearidea.png)
black line shows where i would cut the back panel , and red lines indicate vertical cf wings
similar to this ?

![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/apr_rear_diffuser_s2.jpg)
idea would be to knock it up in thin ply and send it to phil , or but the sheet in and cut bond and make ourselves ,
opinions ?
