its 6 n 2 -3s billy regards the cutting , but rember you would still have to add with to the tubs ect , so this was imho is more thorough , allows you to chec and tweak evrything as it goes in for a complete look ,
also the idea of removing the legs ect allowed us to blast them , thus removing any rot lurking in the inside , and making sure its 1000% rot free, even in the places you cant see,
been thinking about this for the last day or so and as after discussions with k the tanks going in the boot ,
im thinking about a carbon undertray for the rear , just to be a little different ,
now dont want to look garish or ott , but had the idea off a escos i saw recently lol ,
sometheing like this ?
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/rss1rearidea.png)
black line shows where i would cut the back panel , and red lines indicate vertical cf wings
similar to this ?
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/imagesCAQJ29DT.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/apr_rear_diffuser_s2.jpg)
idea would be to knock it up in thin ply and send it to phil , or but the sheet in and cut bond and make ourselves ,
opinions ?

apologies i thought id txt ya lol
take me bk to my school days
yeah deffo johnny , they would of been done in a afternoon ,
but karl dont work like that lol , he like the idea of making it look a factory fit and finish ,
its time consuming and a guess it can seem pointless some times to folks
but the end results speak for themselves ,

and about 30 min later![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010002.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010005.jpg)
and talk about measure twice cut once
perfect fit
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010009.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010012.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010016.jpg)
its had 4 large swages across the middle and 4 smaller ones to the sides the top ones been spaced to hopefully suit the box section going in for the wrc cradel mount
smaller ones
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010018.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010019.jpg)
and how it looks underneath
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010020.jpg)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010023.jpg)
so while k got on with final fit i started welding up the bay
box brace between turrets removed
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010007.jpg)
and a start made
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010006.jpg)
had to cut it short as gas was low and we needed it for the boot ,
sooooooooooooooo...............
plug weld holes were marked and drilled
and " karl fritzl "
got under to final check the fit
" let me out !!! "
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010025.jpg)
panel was then oxided up , light coat and good thick coat where it would be inside the chassis legs ,
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010027.jpg)
and with that , k and graham decided this was a fitting wrapper for me![Confused](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif)
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010033.jpg)

inner arch to floor was spotwelded and oxided
![](http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f227/bigdogengland/update19-11-2010051.jpg)
and the end result.................... just needs plug welds linishing bk and oxiding
