boothy like i told you at the weekend fella
" the long and short of the project at the moment is that until special k is bk up n running in his own place , the projects on hold "
im not going to rush the fabrication or give it to anyone else to do , yea its winding me up sumthing rotten at the mo espically after the pod lol

unfortunately at this point mate i cant give out measurements , karl , the guy doing the fab has set up on his own and with a little bit of a hand from me will be offering the conversion
wouldnt be right to give all the secrets away ,
however theres enough pics on the thread to give you a clear idea of whats involved ,

unfortunately at this point mate i cant give out measurements , karl , the guy doing the fab has set up on his own and with a little bit of a hand from me will be offering the conversion

i you good with a tape measure an a welder its not that hard like beefy say's
look at his build thread you can see wer you need cut an stuff

at the moment mate in just in the que to have the fabrication finished , shouldnt be to long now,
have all the nessacary items to finish the fab barring the mock up cradel but that just needs to be collected when im ready ,
at the moment im just sourcing some items , getting a price on my paint
once the fabs done it should start moving along
belive me no ones more eager than me !!!

ok folks , i know its been a while and a few folk think ive been sat on my arse doiing fa lol
well partly true , but in the background things have been afoot ,
been sourcing some of the final parts i need for mocking up , but genrally working hard to save for my fav part of the car , the wrc rear end ,
well the dosh is together , marks busying away with making it for me ,
if by now you havent heard of mark , its MK MOTORSPORT , hes just became a trader in here and his works fucking unreal imo ,
so during the next two days ill get some pics up of the bits bought and the immediate plans , tomorrow will see me strip the rear diff as mark wants the casing to make sure the mounts are a1 , the diff will be getting a titan gripper at some point ,
ohh and made a start on the cylinder head just a mild port and clean up ,
so pics of that aswell peeps ,
but the motivation is back and im getting excited about the project once more ,
ohh and marks going to post some progress pics ,

i see your cradle uses the wrc gravel front uprights mark, what do you do about the bearing assembly? do you use a converter like Andrew has on mine to use a standard cossie rear wheel bearing and hub?
Also how much are the wrc rear steering arms per pair?

the billet steering arms like in pics can do you a pair for Ł200 marc

as far as i know its made to accept standrad cossie bearings , and obv 2wd shafts and flanges,
but im sure mark will say ,
paul you have no idea fella , not easy looking at the shell going no where , but as with most porojects , the people ive entrusted to do the work have there own committments and cant work miricales ,
but like i said from day one , i wont be rushes regrads the fab work
its me who has to look at the car every day lol
