havent started the new job yet fela, mid feb with a bit of luck mate ,
havent touched the car in about ten days , due to certain reasons ,
also as ive been collecting up parts for the next phase ,
got the new front panel , wings , tubular crossmemeber ect ,
should hopefully get bk on it monday and get the front wrapped up ,

i've just sat and read all 27 pages! my eyes hurt, my back aches, i'm nursing a semi at the detail and now its time for bed! but before i do, this is an amazing motor (or will be but you know what i mean) Funny thing is i just brought a mk4 bonus thats solid and been hasseled to do this same conversion. not knowing what the hell i would be doing (but having the same kind of mates as you clearly have) i was shittin myself at the thought! but after reading this i'm gonna go for it! seems like a great way o blow some cash and spend time away from the wife!
Good luck with the build i'll keep watching. I read earlier you have the measurements for cutting the floorpan of the sierra. i'll pm you my email addy, could you please send them on to me as they would be rather handy i reckon!!

har har , remind me to call you a tosser wed eve ,
no updates at the mo mark , karls on with sorting his garage out , and as his welders ect are all at home and the cars sotored ar me friends its hard to get moving forward ,
however i do have the new tubular crossmember , new frnt panel and wings sat in my garage and should be picking up a mint s1 kit of a friend this week ,
karls assured me the shell will be weleded up and ready for central but as im still not working its difficult , the new full adjustable front strut top mounts should be with me shortly as should the new rear turrets as a old schoolmates fabbing them up to get involved in the project
most of the parts such as hubs ect are soaking away in vinegar ,
its just a case of saving up for the rear end now , thats my focus ,

yeah theres only so much i can do without karl , im the first to admit that , and theres no point me hacking into things for him to have to put them right ,
im going to focus on the running gear i reckon , try and have the front parts im using cleaned and powdercoated ,

that all depends clive , the invites there on the fast ford stand , there cool with the project in various build states if you get me ,
if we can get her into full primer coat and rolling ( the plan was to only take it rolling in the first place ) ,with parts like the pedal box ect in then yeah i would consider it
after all it may not be your cup of tea to look at but theres alot of folk expressed a good look over the fab work thats been put in ,
also its good advertisement for karl ,
if it aint ready or looking its best , ill leave it get it painted and start the build up for ford fair,

Beefy mate, I for one will definitely be looking forward to seeing the car in the metal so to speak, from what I have seen on here the fab work is awesome and a real credit to all involved.
I would love to see it in the metal to take some reference notes as I am considering rwding my escort cabi.

small update folks ,
right , well i collected the s1 kit from tbs ( thanks fella ) , and also my schoolmates halfway thru fabbing the rear turrets ,
also , big thanks to daz ( aka cragrat ) whos kindly loaned my his 2wd front coilovers to help mock the car into a roller ,
also , today i went and got the seel needed for the spit and the rear cradel supports
also , the guy whso designed and built the cradel ect will be heading up to mine this weekend with a bit of luck , by then we should have the spit fabbed and the car upside down ready to offer up the new rear end ,
also , going to fab some mock 4x4 coilovers for the rear , as thats what the billet hubs accept
basically im getting thru the little things needed to get everything together for the beginning of april , as thats the planned date to get it to special k's garage for a week or two of fab before central day
its touch and go up to that point , i wont sacrifice quality to get it there , but ive alot of folk willing to pitch in to keep the project moving forward ,
ill have a update with pics for ya at the end of the week with a but of luck !!

you can use the rears if ya like bud tho not sure they`ll as probly they`d have disapeared with the fronts the other week if they did
anyway if you can tear yourself away from photo ops with titmarsh get karl pushed on with his lean-to
did you look to see if you can use that -6 hose on the fuel line bud?
