Yes mate, name changed as it wasn't really fair on the people who were PM'ing me regarding cars coming into MSD when i wasn't working there full time. Felt a bit rude replying and asking them to ring the office or PM James/Stu.

Took a standard coilpack bracket and marked out...
Attacked with angle grinder:
Smoothed all the raised areas inside:
Bonded a piece of carbon on:
For the water injection pump to live on:
Will hopefully make some more progress this week!

Few photos from yesterday!
Whipped the fuel rail and injectors out, old injectors on the right (now for sale!) and new ones on the left:
That magic number!
Very glad i double checked the fuel rail before it went back on - it would appear that the aeroquip fittings chased a piece of swarf out!
New injectors in and fuel lines reattached:
And then it was time to strip everything back so i could remove the middle section of the sump to go for my turbo oil return fitting to be put in...
Hopefully getting a good crack at it tomorrow so will keep the photos coming...

Was always on the cards
I fitted these anti vibration mounts to the carbon for the water injection pump:
Which when tightened compress:
To give:
Then fitted the water injection jet and line and mounted the flow meter:
Pump mounted and plumbed:
Then mounted the nitrous pressure sensor into the take off block:
And piped up the bottle feed:
Jetted the solenoid:
Mounted the solenoid:
End result:

Well, got my sump back today from my good friend Lee. Done a cracking job of adapting it to -10 for my turbo oil return
Hopefully if things go to plan tomorrow i'll get quite a bit more done

Well, as i'm sat twiddling my thumbs waiting for the manifold to be released from customs (who are being an absolute joke about it! Item was shipped nearly 3 weeks ago now!) i've done a couple of other jobs...
First of all, drilled a hole in my sump and cleaned the area around it.
Next i made a boss out of a 1/8" adaptor i had lying around and got James to weld it for me:
To ensure it was oil tight, we also expoxied the outside - after a quick rub down:
Time for a quick flash of paint to stop it rusting:
And that will be my new oil temperature sensor location
Then it was time to remove the manky old gearbox mount:
And fit a shiny new Vibra-Technics competition one:
Then knock up a quick aluminium bracket:
And mount the carbon fibre oil breather:
End result:
Next week should see the sumps refitted and then we'll play the waiting game for the manifold...

This is quite possibly shaping up to be one of the most extensive and comprehensive zetec builds I've ever seen. Actually never seen so much attention to detail and custom work like it before on a mass produced engine that's been turbo'd and supercharged to the hills by everyone nice to see a slightly different approach!
