Watching that was a proper confidence knocker till right at the end where I noticed I stopped and spoke to Kenny, so mustve been early as he goes home by about midday

Flared the rear arches a fair bit to get the 18s to stop rubbing on big bumps, but still does a bit, fook.
Im wondering if its rubbing on the inside, tho ive not spotted anything.
Main thing is PAINT! The car had tons of paint missing on almost every panel from drift damage lately, doors, bumpers, everywhere, and with spangly purple metalflake thats not exactly summat thats easy to fix.
First thoughts were let it get totally and utterly fricked then respray whole car in a less hard to fix colour.
BUT!
Local paint place to the rescue! Gave them my filler flap to paint match with, wasnt expecting much back, esp not the metalflake, just thought theyd get the purple shade right, but lo and behold they made me 5 rattlecans full of paint thats fricking bob on!
I went round the car today touching up all the paint (there was a LOT of white where the purple had been smashed off by cones, fences, tyres, flaring the arches, etc) and the car looks cool s now, WAY better condition than even when I first bought it .
Planned on taking some nice pics at a decent location as its nice weather this weekend, but I feel properly hangin still from last night, so frick it, few quick driveway pics with a crap camera and a dirty car it is...
Another problem was a missfire I noticed a little on the way home from the last drift day, which is now cured, thanks to binning off the Greddy plugs and putting these in, nice and cold too, 9's
Also got a few more things to finish off the single turbo conversion (aside from the aeromotive pump/filter/reg ive had for ages but too lazy to photograph).
HKS fuel rail...
800cc twin spray injectors...
Greddy Emanage Ultimate ECU and adapter loom.
Although normal Emanage is a bit basic, Ultimate is actually way tricker than Apexi PowerFC, and has stuff like individual cyl trim on the injectors etc, which is good on a RB26 as the airflow of the inlet manifold is FAR from equal.
Now I just need to get on with fitting it. Not now though, I feel rough as fuck.

Dunno mate, whatever, lol.
Stock RB26s with GT35Rs on consistantly get around 575bhp at 1.5bar, and I have cams and a bigger turbo, so I would prob end up with more.
But even 500 would be fine TBH.

Two small things...
Took a pretty pic of the turbo/manifold/gate together...
And I got TOTALLY fucked off with stupid lightweight wheelnuts coming loose every 50miles, so ordered some Driftworks steel internal drive jobs, which arrived the next day, winner

Ever had one of those moments when you KNEW you just had a feeling you shouldnt do something, but did anyhow, and it went massivley wrong?
Well i did on Sat, and was lucky not to destroy the car!
Its ok tho, just kerbed 1 alloy, took a big chunk out another one (but it will be fine), took the backbox clean off, and smashed the front and rear bumpers up even more, whoops.
Drives straight tho so dont think ive done any proper damage, but thatl learn me, learn me good. Well it wont really, I always drive like a loon, so now and again shit has to go wrong, amazing I never wrote my old Cossie off TBH.
It was just something id dont a million times before, and in middle of nowhere, but went a bit wrong this time
Ended up spinning it at about 60odd, clattered a kerb backwards with passenger rear wheel, but as it was middle of nowhere the kerb was mostly mud/grass didnt take the rear end off like it normally would.
A man who drove past shouted "Thatl teach you for driving like a dickhead!" and he was right
Im looking at it as a good thing though, as the entire bodywork was scratched and fucked anyhow from me using it properly, so this gives me an excuse to tidy it up a little, as not the bumpers are properly smashed
Aside from that, Touring Car Spares Touring car Spares owner and all round top bloke Tony Ryan kindly sent me these yesterday, which was nice!
They are a pair of used 235 wide 2008 Dunlop BTCC slicks (medium/soft compound), which he would normally sell as a set of 4 for £120 a set, but these were too worn to sell, so he kindly said I could have em to try them out, see if they any good for drifting
Im initially gonna try them on the front to see how they are, as the main issue is how fast they warm up. Most seem to think they will take too long, but others who have actually tried them for drifting say otherwise, but there only one way to find out!
If they work ok ill probably buy a full set (ones with more meat left on them!) as ive been told when drifting they are awesome on the back too, mental grippy but mentally smokey and wear well too, so good fun for practice days etc.
And thats it really for now. Amen

Not taken any as there nothing worth noting really, rear bumpers snapped in 2 but would go back together easy, and front bumper is cracked in lots of places but nothing youd see on a camera.
Same as wheel really, big chunk out of a section about an inch thatd loook bad up close but if the pic was the whole wheel youd hardly notice it.
No panel damage barring more scratches that the car is covered in anyhow, so would just look like the pics with no bumpers like most the drift ones as id smashed em off then too.
Backbox is dented as fook, but was even before I bought it, as just like its life now, it was constantly drifted and smashed up good when in Japan.
Got some bodywork changes coming now, should look cool...
