hey Dan that's looking good, at least it's different from the usually thing (as in Zetec not 24v)

As Dan has said were gettting the 3 door into the workshop on Saturday ready for all the prep work to start next week hopefully. Should look a completely different beast when it comes out the paintshop shame its still a 1.6

i also took the plastic side shirts up to a sheet metal fabricators this morning, as the plastic ones are a bit shit, so they gonna make me some out of ally

Unless i missed something - which wouldn't be the first time... what sort of wheels are going on it... some slaag MO's ? Escos rims?

 

aint got any wheels at the mo mate, i got some 17" masitaly VT5's that are mint, but wrong offset for a 2wd cossie...

so need shot of them

ideally i would like some 17" superlegeras as i love them, but ill see what i can blag lol

 

go for black wheels with polished rim, they would look against the orange

ok, we have an update lol

not a biggy but hey...

as the car is going into the body shop tomoz i thought i would roll the arches as i want low offset wheels and wide tyres lol

so, here we have an arch rolling tool, and no idea how to use it but its pretty obvious when you get down to it



this is the arch lip before i let loose on it lol (watch out for dave the spider )



give it some abuse lol



and you get this, the lip is nicely folded over



the rears were a pain the ass tho

then yesterday i decided that the plastic side skirts i had were rather shit, they were cracked and i couldnt be arsed to sort them...

so i got some ally ones made up





and i got a fookin good deal on em too as me old man uses the place that done it.

and a few pics of it all nicely selotaped to the car with the arches
