Problem fitting 17" wheels
Wondered if anyone could help. I have bought some 17 " wheels for my Escort S2 Turbo and they are scrapping on the rear wheel arches.
Has anyone got a solution for this problem as many other people have put 17" wheels on their cars.

you will need to have the arches rolled mate
most rst that are lowered with 17s will have arch mods at 25mm drop if yours is more then have a look at the top of the rear bumper as this is where the wheels rub aswell

thanx for your help the car is lowerd by about 40 ml and if i need arch mods do any one no the best place to have them done i would rather have it done properly than just set about them with a angel grineder
I would imagine that they are ET35. The only answer is arch work and its a bit of a b'stard on an ERST because of the Bodykit.
ET38 would have been better, but they might have touched the insides of the Front Arches (better IMO as at least this doesn't shred the tyres).
What wheels are they?
