Prosecuted for driving without due care and Attention:advise
Last august I was stopped by the old bill in London late at night for "racing on a public road" They were waiting in a lay by as traffic cops do just waiting to stop someone so as I went past the round about where they were not seeing them I Accelerated off the roundabout and down the straight where they then came after me. On the straight I came across another car where the Scooby driver rolled the window down to ask what I was running and so on I slowed down and drop a gear then the old bill come out of no where at speed going mental they dived in front of us blocking us in and the road in front shouting and stuff to get out of the car,
basically I just want to no where I stand and what I am looking at when I go to court on the road side they said that racing on a high way can be an imprisonoble offence, they apparently clocked us at 80mph in a 40 but the guy said to me "il be honest with you we haven’t got much footage because you were so far ahead and we could only hear you"
Any advise would be great

I got done for almost this exact same thing 4 or 5 years ago.
Cops were sitting just off the dual track when I came past with 2 Saxo's- me in my 16i.
They pulled forward shoved the lights on and came after us pulling in front and nailing all 3 of us and being less than polite.
All to go to court for dangerous driving, speeding and racing on a public highway.
As this( dangerous driving) can be an imprisonable offence I was SHITTING it and got legal aid because of this also.
Solicitor said they had very little evidence BUT on the video before they kept pace with the 3 of us and then started to gain they were doing 65 and it was a 40. So that was good enough for speeding, the racing thing they agreed they would argue the toss on- however I wanted to argue the toss on the speeding too. Also if you turned the volume right up- you could well and trully hear us nail it off an island go through a few gears and then start to brake as we came under a bridge as we saw the plod.
My solicitor advised having the mater dealt with in the magistrates court due to the fines and punishments being lesser than those of crown court, which is usually for more serious stuff.
Also she advised imprisonment for a firsti(sh) offence for a person of good standing in the community was unheard of.
So off to court (the NIP needs to be within 6 months of the date of the offence which is the first thing she checked) me and the one lad denied everything but the other lad admitted speeding and denied the other bit.
Court ajurned
then another few fuck abouts and finally 8 months later the hearing
got there waited around for fucking ages- Sollicitor sorted it with the CPS that if we changed our plea's and admitted speeding they'd offer no evidence for the dangerous driving and racing- even the old bill who collered us where there so they were probably fairly serious.
Got given 5 points SP30 for exceeding the speed limit by 20 mph in a 30 mph zone which went into a 40. 115 quid fine and 65 costs so 180 quid.
The kid who pleaded quilty at the first instance was given a lesser fine for doing just that- and he turned up in a fucking tracksuit.
I got to keep the video tho.
Points to note- the points you recieve as long as they're not for a serious offence (check the dvla website for this info) are applicable from the offence date and not the conviction date- So my 5 points were only actually on my license for totting up for 2 years and 4 months- I love this law its ace but dont tell anyone.

i dont post on here much but check out treads offten and id say i no you lot a lot better than you no me on the web anyway, if i had the thousands of posts that some of you had the repls would be a different storry but theres more to life living on a form bitching all the time. this thread is in no way a braging sescion about racing as i defo am not a little boy racer just wanted to tell the full story to try an get some advise so enough with being a bunch of fucking c*nts and get a life not as if i was going to take your sole advise and not see a solicitor

A friend of mine got done recently for undue care and attention or careless driving 1 of the 2 and they offered him a 2 day course instead of the usual court proceddings.
Whilst on the course he had the oppurtunity to pull either a fit asian bird or fat white bird.
My guy chose the latter being a dead cert
Only turns out she wanted to be friends- because she is only a dead cert to women- Typical- he pulls the fat fucking lesbian.
