their crap and very slow for the size of engine..
lets just say your rs2k will piss all over it , 134mph top speed,153bhp,144lb ft torque deary me my old escort gti would even piss all over it

I have one and my g/fs dad has the IS300.
Slow as all hell the 200. Needs the 300 engine.
They handle very well but dont have much speed or power. The 300 has the gears on the steering wheel and can be flicked to auto or tip tronic (what ever a clutchless manual is).
Plus points for me. Under 200 quid to insure fully comp at 23 and looks good. Handles well and very economical. Cheap to run and service.
HTH and if you want pics let me know as I have a fair few. Oh and mine is for sale if you want it!
If you can find one, the RS200 is the one to go for. Performs much better and came with a carbon fibre bonnet from factory

I had one briefly as a company car. Was brand new and I was all excited. Drove it to Plymouth and oh my god... after that I drove the cossie everywhere, even th ough I had to shout my own petrol.
As said I think your 2K would be better.

Erm insurance & petrol...plus the loan i took out to buy her I may just stick it out, keep her off road over winter and drive the 2k....then see where i stand, but i saw a lexus the other day, i fookin luv em to look at.....thought they were nippy too though

wounder i know you can turn the t/c off in the 430. not sure on the mk1 or mk2 300 though. although they do have a snow setting on the box iirc? must be the set for japanese snow

Aint as easy as that katie...the cossie likes to break esp with how i drive it...so even if I do keep it i still got running costs + breakages...
