They took a bus from the Clandeboy (spelling) road which was full of people, forced the passengers to give them their belongings then took it down the green road where they burnt it out. Apparntly they are now have some full on battle with the peelers down there!!

Yes a petrol bomb missed the cosworth by about 6 feet, i was cruising behind a police car (as you do) about 3 car lengths behind him and in the middle of the road he just stopped, i thought oh great here we go pulling me over. Then i just saw this fireball going through the sky, i was like what the fuck thats some shooting star. then BOOOOOM about 6 feet away from the cossie just exploded. Police man jumped out of the car and shouted "Get the fuck back"

So in true cossie style she was turned in the middle of the road in about 0.1 of a second and launched down the road lol....least they didnt come after me for speeding

I tell you liquid poo filled the pants for a minute.

 

 

All this "religion" stuff just does my head in - my mums an Irish catholic, my dad a Scottish Protestant, and I just don't care.

I'll bet you all these rioters have been down to the church every Sunday doing their prayers and learning the 10 Commandments.

 

Quite the opposite really, it seems they are aged between 12-21 mostly. If you went up to them and asked them why they were rioting, they prob couldnt even tell you.

Got out of work early today because of potential trouble, so cant complain. You have to remember both catholic & protestants are fighting for what they believe in, and from each others point of view both see each other as evil and wrong.

One of the Mp`s (nigel dodds) was on tv tonight commenting and he made good points. With the exception of Sein Fein/IRA no other political party controls either paramilitary groups. So having Ian Paisley, Reg Empey and Nigel Dodds appealing for calm will do little as they have no control over the UVF.

Its easy to comment when you dont live in the areas involved or indeed view it from a safe distance accross the water but this hasnt been because of a parade, these current troubles have been brewing for ages now.

You will get kids out throwing bricks and rioting cause they think its cool, you only have to go back to the last time Rangers beat Celtic for that. Ardoyne was a war zone or when Glentoran beat Linfield in the last game of the season and Linfield caused a riot, yet both are protestant teams.

 

The trouble is not just with the UVF ya know.

 

I know its not just with them, the context of the point I was making is, no politician has direct control over them or the UDA or LVF, the way sein fein represented the IRA until recently.
