G8 - whats your views on the riots happening?
Urgh, i tell you what honest decent people want to protest about somthing (ok i dont agree with it somtimes) but aslong as its peacful thats fine. However now the police has stop the 5000 people they allowed to march towards the gates of Gleneagle due to more riots over night! Now the people who rioted is a small number who ruin it for the majority. These people said they are protesting agianst capatilism 
I bet half of them dont even know what capatilism means let alone give an alternative! IMO its people who got nothing better to do than go up there and just cause trouble! 
IMO the police should get hold of them and give them a good beating for causing trouble

Any of those "anti capitalist" protestors that then claim dole are being hypocrits, if we didnt live in a capitalist society we wouldnt be able to afford to pay them it suely?
The police should have just run over the ones blocking the M9 with those riot vans

MOst of these people who are actually rioting have no political motivation at all - they just want to kick off. Simple.
I've got a few mates who are "soap dodging crusty tree hugers" and there all about protest without violence - they just throw techno parties instead of bricks!
No excuse for unmotivated violence though

those people turning up wearing crash helmets and wielding iron bars are not protesting about anything.. they are just there for a fight, no more no less..

Being in ayrshire and living 5 mins from the airport where all the leaders flew into , its a bloody mad, my car got searched this morning on way into to work becasue i was drivng close to the airport , tanks going about, sooooooo many police etc

I agree with all the above. Give them all a good wallop with the truncheon and deport the fookers to somewhere awful like Afghanistan.
Not so sure I agree with Geldof's ranting about 50k people died of hunger today. Sir Bob - thats called mother nature. The planet can only support so many people Overpopulation is the one topic no MP/Senator will go near as telling people they shouldnt have more kids is not a vote winner. War, disease & famin are all mother nature at work to bring back the equilibrium.

I think we should all go up there and back the police up... see how the fukkers act with a few thousand stood the otherside without the constraints the police have to adhear too

Nothing wrong with legitamate protests, and there is every chance that they may become heated, but there is a big difference bettween someone passionatly believing in somthing and getting carried away too those loons who are there for one thing and one thing only Premeditated Violence.

They're all Italian, French, German and some English that call themselves Dissant. Dont agree with it, but it's awesome to be involved/caught up in it when it kicks off. Biggest rush ever
