M3's are nice cars, handle well from standard and I prefer one to a Cossy purely due to reliablity, build quality and to use everyday ...but there not that fast in this day and age. Same as stage 2/3+ Cossy power more or less, but in no way are they that great. I've seen a snow bike at Pod that would make most supposed fast car owners think twice ..oh and a few old Beetles

RichW, see you on Wednesday at the Berks meet ... I'll buy you a pint

Eagles a good driver on and off track so I cant understand how some of you numb nuts disbelief him. Maybe your jealous as you cant drive as good as him or maybe from some M3 owners, cause you lack what it takes to take the car on the limit ...thats your choice ...who fecking cares now as the post has gone to shit .................

Just chill and carry on life living and enjoying your own car and not bickering like school girls as that happens too often

The Evo's 321bhp is slightly out, more like 310-317 depending on the engine, they vary alot in performance they never seem to go quite as they should especially if you have just stepped out of the lively 170bhp 323i.

The E46 is much better and has no vanos issues,it's a simplified single piece desing.
They can rev to 8250/370 bhp when remapped with induction.

...has Ian given you some new brakes free of charge yet? I'd be interested to see where this ones going, considering they've gone wrong about once a year and why the feck should you have to but new ones at list?

I have never disbelieved or said that Eagle didn't beat it and that's because I own an M3 and know what it takes to beat one, robin reliant, VW bettle, etc. All I was getting at is that it's no big deal, however if it is I'm well chuffed and need to add it to the target list of cars to race in the future Lets' just say Eagle has the faster car, I've got the better one

Mine . In the last year it has had nothing but pads, tyres, plugs and oil changes, has done 2 trips to the 'Ring, numerous trackdays and the engine is running twice the power Ford intended . When Cossies are tuned properly with all the correct ancilliries, they are no less reliable than standard .
