Well theres enough people that have done a lot more to there cars and still not got anywhere near the standard turbo you built made.
You've obviously rewritten the RST tuning standards this time

Jamie has only tuned 4 RS Turbos in the last 13 years....LOL
We have no knowledge of what makes real power on an rst and simply follow everybody elses way of modding............

U do get cars that make more power with less mods! good heathy enignes!
Take spiky's cossie for instance! that always made excellent power!
My old 1.6 always made good power cause the enigne was mint!
I know of a few standardish s2's makin over 200hp!

Some people just arent prepared to try new ways and ideas to make power and just follow the industry standard or the same as there mate john down the road.
We try new things and new ideas, whether it works or not.
These cars are getting old now and people are asking for something different rather than a chip, filter and mongoose.

as it had a fookin massive hole in the manifold! also belivee the turbo was diying!
So the company tried selling him a new 1! also tried to get him to change the managemnt on it!
obviously Pectel wasnt good enough!
Just out of a matter of interest what car do u drive!? what power does it make!? where has it made said power? have u timed the car!?

I drive a standard series 2. 
It doesnt really matter what car i drive to have views and opinions on inflated power figures.
Anyway having a hole in the manifold doesnt lose you shit loads of power

When i said bout the manifold what i really meant was the hole in the manifold was no excuse for the low power it was running.
because when they fitted the new manifold it still made NO WHERE near the power it was claimed to have

My enigne was built @ home by my m8! it cost me less than 2k to build far far far leess(Big Up DOO ) & made more power than the magority of the RST that were around @ the time!
I tested it @ brunting thrope & ran 5.5 0-60 12.5 0-100 & a 14.1 @ 109mph 1/4 mile! which i didnt think was bad for brunters/1st ever time doing it/ & a set of tyres hat have done more miles than a bejing hooker
The car with a set of tyres & a gearbox that wasnt hangin out of it was easily a 13 sec car!

I wasnt aware that Stu had ran the ca rup with the new manifold on! infact it now has a whole new exhaust system with external wastegate! & T34!
Which he is yuet to have re-set up! as I am no expert but i would assume that whackin a totaly doifferent form of exhaust system & turbo would totaly fook the map up & make the car very shite!
The 1st thing i said to stu when he told me the car wasnt runnin right the other day afetr findin out he had all the exhaust & turbo changed was for him to get the car re-mapped!

Dont get me wrong im not dissing ppl who mod there cars as mine will end up modded!!
All im trying to say is that yes tuners do exagerate rolling road figures from time to time and yes they do benefit from it because the customer ends up chuffed to bits form the extra bhp he has gained.

The car was going to be in fast ford, simon really wanted it on the cover but 2 days before the photoshoot the nearside tyre blew and i couldn't get a replacement in time for the shoot. Then i sold it so it never got shot in the end.

Yes i couldnt get a tyre because i wanted the same as the other 3 tyres on the car and a lot of garages didnt have them so had to order them in for Thursday morning.

I Think the RS your on about for sale might have been the greyish coloured one, a ford galaxy colour with the quad headlamps..
It was at Bruntingthorpe shootout this week, Monday I think..
Has had loads of work, and the engine is very very powerful, steel bottom end etc etc..

Where are we with new ideas on porting etc is the key...
Proper heads on any car will see good power increase.
