THen goes to an independant who didnt do the work and ends up getting a lot less.

hmmm

I have a little more brains than you obviosly think.

Knowing that people regularly do this, it is not a practice I participate in.

I know full well tha plenty of people will go to another rollers and have there car checked, so why would I Blag results for them to get there and be saddened by me lying to them and it making 30 bhp less than I had quoted....!!

This is a very fast way of losing customers and getting a poor reputation.

Not a good look.....................

I never said you had done that, you asked what you would gain from doing it which is what i stated a more satisfied customer.

Didn't say you did it personally

I've been on the jamsport rollers in a standard car and made exactly standard power. IMO they are pretty accurate. Good bunch of lads too

Not to sound funny but PF is 1 of th emost reputiable mags there is! in the fact they prove everythin they publish!

So they r hardly gunna make up things about 1 of there own cars!

As Mr C said perhaps there r things done to this car that Nick doesnt know of! i.e. turbo!

Am sure the 1st chance he gets he will b screwing it up brunters to prove the power with times!

& Im also pretty fookin sure Jamie, Danny & the jampsort lads would never forge figures! they ave a excellent reputation & also have made many many fookin rapid cars!

like Dan said its a good way of losing customers, maybe this will make people think the power is a bit easier to find than previously thought

*is it defo safe to run MFi on that power without a 5th injector then?*

BHP figures and graphs aren't that important anyway
IMO you can claim any power figure you like in an RST but if it makes 14 sec quarters or 130mph top end who cares, its not exactly fast is it??
My Fiesta ZT was never rolling roaded and was always live mapped and its power was judged on Its performance... probably why so many people thought the Fiesta had 300bhp+ I once found a feature on net about TOTB which claimed my fiesta had 400bhp
Nick@PF take it to the track and time it then will see if it has 250bhp

a hybrid t3 would struggle to make that power with his mods and boost level never mind a standard t3

a cam a chip and exhaust will make roughly 180bhp@fly,so adding a pro alloy i/c and big valve head will give a increase of nearly 80bhp,mmmmm i smell shite
so why are all these people spending sill amounts of money on engine mods when you simply need a big i/c and better head and youll have a 250bhp car
i for one would be interested in power@wheels figures and not these over exagerated fly figures
and i think ill take my car to these rollers when its back on the road
350bhp anyone

How much have you raised it to? Mine was on Double Valve Springs and Anti-Pumps at 6700rpm. Not sure how much further they will go.

No worries!! As for the Rev Limit. I would be dubious. Why do you want to rev it to high? Why not buy an aftermarket limiter and set it to 6700?

I would personally add a proper aftermarket Rev Limiter. Like the Omex one. That way you can be sure of never hitting a higher RPM accidentally.

Even though the bhp has gone up loads, does anyone know why the torque figure has stayed pretty similar to before, as it dont seem like it has reasonably good torque for the mods it has?

Cheers

I think everyone should take there car to Jamsport

You get an easy 250bhp form little mods going ot them.

You only get about 190 - 200bhp if you go to another tuner
