just a quick question; what is generally considered the maximum acceptable ACT reading?

anything is ecceptable really,,,

but there is no reason why you should see over 50 degrees

On an RST 62° is not good. Thats the point that your ECU will retard the Ignition Timing.

50° + is not good for power.

I would say that if you can see around 30-40° under full Boost then you have a good cooling set-up.

At 70deg on a Cossie the ECU starts cutting back various things like timing and boost...
