Default Is a Magnex exhaust restrictive?

My exhaust is fooked and i have been offered a Magnex system
I know they are made well and quiet but are they restrictive compared to a Mongoose for example?
Cheers Spadge...

Ive been told that over 300bhp the magnex is restrictive, hence why mine is going on e-bay this week

I've heard they are good and quieter than a mongoose as well.. I have no actual experience with one though.

Did'nt like the magnex on my 2wd saph at all

Too quiet will soon get restricted where the shitty 2 pipes join under diff when you flatten it when the car squats

When I fitted the magnex to my esc cos, I found an extra 3 psi of boost so had to turn it down again,
so it's deffo better than a standard one, it also spins the turbo up far quicker.

The Magnex is no less restrictive that the Goose, it is quieter due to the 3 silencers.....same diameter downpipe at 3" it has been said that its a better made system....all down to whether you want noise or not.

IIRC from when i had the cossie and was down bluesprint all the time, Joe@bluesprint used to rate the cossie magnex as his favourite of all the off the shelf ones so must be decent...

Bit quiet for me tho

Thanks for all your comments guys
I have been offered a tidy one for 150 and really don't want to drive my car far with the fooked centre box as it gets fumey in the car especialy on greys
I would idealy like another Mongoose but there don't seem to be any about atm and i am not paying 400 quid for a new one

Magnex is well made, and fits pretty well, it's just huge, so hangs out in a couple of places.. having the twin pipe run and twin centre boxes reduces restiction and makes it nice and quiet.. Obviously some peeps don't like it so quiet, but the continuous noise gets on my tits personally

Sounds good Pops
I guess the main thing that is putting me off this Magnex is the fitting of it compared to a Goose. I can fit a goose on my back on the drive in about 20 mins but the Magnex i reckon will be a little tricky to align and fit properly without a ramp!

I fitted mine by myself with ramps only problem was it use to move when it got hot and hit the bumper but when cooled down it always went back to the original position.. sure you could manage jules..
