Default Water wetter,work?

I've used water wetter in the past. Usually on cars that seem to have issues with cooling in common.
I have never actually tested to see if 'it does what it says on the tin'. I have, However, never had a cooling issue when it's been in! That could be coincidence though.

So does it actually work?

I believe it does but you should always make sure the cooling system works in the first place.

I have just gone over to Evans waterless where you flush the engine with a prep fluid then refil but you cannot use any water for that. I runs a little hotter at normal but does not increase and does not pressurise.

I'm sorting the know issues out on my current car, including stripping all the coolant related items out and properly cleaning the old crap out. New water pump, stat etc. I just like a bit more peace of mind as they're renound for overheating. Capri 2.8i.

I ran it in a computer water cooling setup in the early 2000's

from memory, it dropped water temps 4-5 degrees at 30-40 degree temps so i can confirm it does what it says on the tin, and this is running a system that I benchmarked without, and put it in the loop whilst still running and benchmarked

Cool (no pun lol) . I will use it again then. Every little helps as they say.

Steveos. No good pics at moment just these. Bought as an almost finished project. Nice paintwork and trim etc, just needs finishing. Not a lot to do ..

I tried it on a few cars years ago that never cooled that great.

Never once did it make a single bit of difference.
