wheel, disc and caliper off, then just undo the hub nut, full flange with bearing pulls off,
then just refit new 1, 10-15 min job

fronts usualy come in the hub flange, so no need to press it out/in
just pull the old 1 off then throw away, new 1 just slides in complete

the E60 doesn't have a hub nut, the bearing/flange bolts on from behind with 4 bolts.
3 of the bolts are easy to get to but the 4 is behind the shocker which needs to be removed from the hub. to do this the lower arm needs to be seperated from the hub to allow the hub to come down enough for clearance. book time is 1.45hrs and from recent experience not the hardest bearing to do but certainly not the easiest.

no but if it means that it stops someone thinking it's a 20mins job after reading incorrect information i'm certainly going to correct it.

if you can't take being corrected make sure the info you put up is correct when you post.

I totally agree. This is not a 10 minutes job. If it was - I would have done it a long time ago. I have two new bearings but no time for replacing them.
