A cat’s brain is biologically more similar to a human brain than it is to a dog’s. Both humans and cats have identical regions in their brains that are responsible for emotions.

During the time of the Spanish Inquisition, Pope Innocent VIII condemned cats as evil and thousands of cats were burned. Unfortunately, the widespread killing of cats led to an explosion of the rat population, which exacerbated the effects of the Black Death.

me too, well i believe when mine was there it was stu driving and james setting up / adjusting. car was transformed when it came back they made it come alive. the spec is (stage 3 4x4 t3, 4x4 engine 4x4 ex manifold, neil roper very mildly ported, head 200 block etc...803 greens, 500 size cooler 4x4 plenum and throttle, group a breather etc... so basically a stage 3 t3 spec) which caused stu to say it was very quick for spec which made me proud. even james had to ring me during setup to ask just what had been done to it as fuelling for it was not straightforward to sort due to the extra little touches it had had lol
didnt stop james from saying when i picked it up "just needs a t34 to bring it alive mate!"
feels fast enough to me though and most importantley and in the theme of this thread I KNOW it is safe to drive hard as it was done by a company i trust (plus they gave me a reciept which says so lol)

sorry for waffling just im happy with the service i got and im massivley pissed ha ha

how can anybody argue with somebody who has much much much much more experience in everything weber and cosworth??

you then specifically asked karl and stu to give there thoughts......they did ....... whihc resulted in you arguing with them

just buy the new pistons as you have said you would do and lets all just move on........the only one that is being made to look very very silly is you Danny.

there is no replecement for experience i have used stu @msd for many years and will continue to do so, i also contacted karl a few years ago about mapping my nova turbo he was willing to map it and seemed quite keen.... i foolishly followed the crowd at the time and ended up at ep.

lets say i no longer have my nova and no longer would i use ep.

cheers

During the Middle Ages, cats were associated with witchcraft, and on St. John’s Day, people all over Europe would stuff them into sacks and toss the cats into bonfires. On holy days, people celebrated by tossing cats from church towers.

Did you know that your brain has no pain receptors or pain fibers and the brain it’s self cannot feel? Your brain cannot even feel pain. Although headaches are still not all the way understood, one reason it’s believed you feel headaches is because the skull is surrounded by what’s called meninges or blood vessels which do have pain receptors.

The sound that you hear when you crack your knuckles is the sound of gas bubbles bursting between the joint of your bones. The popping or cracking sound is caused when these gases are quickly released from your knuckle capsule thus your joint is able to stretch as much as the space previously occupied by these gases and this usually gives you a stretched feeling.

As this thread is all about cabbages.....

The world’s largest cabbage is credited to William Collingwood of County Durham, England, whose prized cabbage in 1865 weighed in at 123 pounds.

Danny, one thing i did think was that you were a man of your word, you asked for expert opinion from one of the most respected tuners around, now you've rubbished his opinion and still think you are right. pretty sad really.

man the fuck up, drop the ego, admit the map was suspect and pay for the pistons.

its three independent respected tuners against your blind faith in luke's map, take some time and think about that.

So how did the thread go from a hinge in a gated sump jamming an oil pump, to a totally different engine with some piston issues ?

I see this go stupid last night and when speaking to karl i disagreed to some of the things he said ..

I didnt once argue that he doesnt know what he is talking about as i know he clearly does..

Some of the things i asked still wernt answered as everyone just excepts it was doing 2 bar of boost at 4.5k when on the dyno it was only showing .65 bar..

What i would argue with any one is that an already road mapped car can be made better on a rr as iv seen and done this myself on numerous occasions..

I will stick to my word and i will pay steve for a set of pistons as its clearly detted and i am a man of my word..

I have only stuck up for luke on this occasion as like i said i havnt seen him mess a car up on webber before...

Theres no doubt that steves car was fine on the dyno as iv seen all the figures and trust them but i realise that on the road with that ignition and possibly seeing more boost at them points the engine could det....This argument can never be settled for sure as the engine is now in bits and cant be tested on the road...

I will concede on this occasion as i cant win and or prove other wise so i will stick to my word and pay for pistons..

I know iv been the one coming on here sticking up for luke etc and realise iv left me self wide open for all the shit but hey im big enough and ugly enough!!lol

Anything i ever have done on the rollers in the future will be checked on the road after wards with det cans etc so one lesson learnt!!

From now on bench dyno to rolling road to the road!!!then safe in all aspects..

cheers danny
