changed the oil on my cossie now oil plug will not tighten up no threads {update }

You'd need to remove (or at least lower) the front crossmember BUT you will have to support the engine with a proper engine support bar because you'll have to undo the engine mounts.

well today i bought a helicoil kit drilled it out tapped it out inserted helicoil,poured oil through engine washed out with diesal was surprised how much alloy came back out,inserted bolt couldnt belive it chewed up the sump plug bolt,tryed again with anorher helicoil tightened up this time then i noticed i hadnt put the washer on,anyway it was getting tight and i did not dare remove again lol,if it leaks hasnt yet i will th.ink about it when it gets rebuilt anyway put the tax disc in the window and went for a drive happy times again.thanks for all the help on here.now i need to chane the rear springs and shockers.
