Default mercedes a210 evolution....

anybody got one ? i fancy an old one 2001/02 sort of age for a cheap nippy runaround. i dont know why, ive always liked them.
can anyone tell me anything about them? im seeing figures of 40mpg and in such a small car 140bhp must be quite quick around town?
obviously being a boy racer at heart ill be going down the route of big wheels, tints, exhaust and possibilities for tuning ?

Never before has the phrase "Each to their own" been so well suited.

not really, i just want a little cheap runaround thats something a bit different . £2000-£3000 will get one of these. apparently 40+ mpg out of a 2.1 and 140bhp in something small that weighs just over a ton. a set of 17" amg wheels will finish it off nicely.
you fuckers have no style.

Oh don't get me wrong, it's a lot of car for the money, especially with the figures you mentioned, but it's just the image. I'd much rather have a remapped SmartCar!

Possibly stretching the limitations of the word "cool" but y'know.
They're 600cc turbo aren't they? Got to be room for some tuning there.
