I'll just get this in before the thread totally turns to shit, thank you to all our customers who actually had work carried out by totd over the past 4 years, it was not my choice that the company closed down, but unfortunately times are tough and overheads are high, thanks again to all the customers and friends who supported us. Chris.

Always helpful and friendly when I went down there, helped me out when I needed my actuator rod sorting out at short notice and I had a good day when UKFORD OC had a RR day down there.
Sad to hear goes to show how difficult things are out there

TOTD revived my escort cos in 2008 when it had a multitude of problems ,at a very reasonable cost too ,seemed a nice bunch of people,
BUT ,whilst my car was there, there was a thread on RSOC from a Focus RS MK1 owner after they cocked up some boost bleed valve thingymabob and there was some big slagging off going on ,which didnt fill me with confidence .

i think tuners need to have the gear to map the webber stuff as cossies probly have the most money thrown at them for tuning and it so surprising how many rolling road companys that dont have the gear to access the ecus? most people dont want aftermarket ecus, there too expensive and they fail alot...and are just not needed for a 500bhp spec
if a tunner with a good rep was near me with access to map a l8 on dyno i would use them a couple times a year...
this is just my opinion

The Cossie market is very small, My average Evo build cost is twice that of a Cossie,
So this is a tiny market if it stopped tomorrow it would have very little impact on me.

Agree, talking to a tuning company about the high value jobs they have in for Jap stuff was an eye opener - engine builds around the Ł6k mark and one customer dropping off a car asking for a Ł25k 600bhp full build - Supra or similar I think.
Cossie world is small compared to modern Jap stuff - especially in value terms.

Bad news. Good bunch of lads and they did a foookin amazin' job on my Mk1.
CHRIS- Get in touch with me mate....dunno what you have lined up, but I have a job offer worth listening too for you from someone who has been talking to me.
Good luck to you all.
