passionmercedes engine light...

Default passionmercedes engine light...

....serviced the A210 today but unfortunately running radio half the dayflattened the battery so i needed a jump start. now the engine light is on but its running fine and no limp home mode. anyone any idea how to manually reset the light? i know theres a system of buttons to press to remove the service light but not sure about the engine light.....?
there doesn't seem to be anyone on the Mercedes forum...

If there's nothing actually wrong, it should sort itself out after a few starts/journeys.

there was nothing wrong before I got my big fat fingers on it! I did also change the fuel filter so that's maybe put air into the system and caused the sensors to think the tank had run dry. according to the manual the tank running dry causes this light to come on and they also say it should clear itself after half a dozen starts.
its been a few years since I last tinkered with an engine and certainly none with the odd layout this has but it was nice to be elbow deep in oil again!

Disconnect the negative lead off the battery for 10 mins, should clear it! If the light goes out after so many starts the code will still be logged and it may stay in limp mode.
