Default mk6 fez focus rs conversion

Hi guys, what sort of money would it cost to convert a mk6 fiesta 1.6L zetec s to the 2.0L focus rs ? as the girlfriend is thinking about either converting her zetec s or just getting a fiesta st as she wants more power
Also who would you lot use to do such a conversion ?
Cheers Andrew

Yh true.

You need the engine, box, shafts (possibly custom) , clocks, ecu, loom, down pipe, custom exhaust, bigger fuel pump, probably want to up rate front breaks and suspension.

Shafts fit, so you can use the standard focus rs ones. Fuel pump will see you to 450bhp so wont need to change that, you will need to make up your own fuel lines though!

Depending on what spec you want, expect prices of 8k upwards...

Yep they do, so do focus ST170 shafts aswell.. Ive got a blacktop with a 6 speed box in my ST! The cost of the conversion comes in when you start needing custom hoses, coolers, rads, management and mapping etc etc!

I can well imagine, however, I reckon st hubs would fit a mk3 Fezz with a bit of juggling,
No need for custom shafts then

hmmm posibly! But i think the width of a mk3 fiesta would be alot shorter then a mk1 Focus where as a mk6 i think is only a bout and inch shorter wheel base. I still think you would need custom shafts for a mk3! But i could be wrong...

Either way I've deffo gotta go custom shafts for my escort.

For some odd reason they don't make them of the shhelf to put a Vtec engine in a mk4 escort lol
