whats your car like in the snow ?
Well my focus tdci sport has been amazing in the snow. Ive got 215 40 17 tyres and its got to be the best car ive driven in the snow. Gets anwhere whithout any trouble.
last year i was driving a petrol 1.6 Astra G and it was shite. Even in the wet it would spin up all the time.
Whats everyone else driving in these winter conditions

I've got a 525 Bimmer and it's utter utter utter shite! I've tried sand bags in the boot with lower tyre pressures which helped marginally, but I've got some tyre socks to try for the next lot of snow we get!

The scoob. Snow hasnt been that bad here yet though.
When we had bad snow at beginning of the year i had my mr2 and that was rather difficult. Great for spinning round in circles but trying to get up the hill by my house was almost impossible. Id get half way up, the wheels would start losing grip then the back end of the car just starts sliding about everywhere.

Ive seen a bmw 1 series diesel earlier and it was on a slight hill and all over the place.
The guy was driving on tickover too.
Dont think bmw's are snow friendly

My 2.0 Focus is fine in the snow. Apart from one very sideways slide at 20mph yesterday morning ive got around with no problems at all.

The ml is awesome in the snow, totally faultless, and it's been pretty deep by us as well,as bad as the pajero pics.
Still,as I posted on another thread a lot of it's down to the driver.I used a focus estate all last year and never had a problem although I still think beemers are wank in the snow.

96 clio 1.2 love it, side ways everywhere - get a lot of odd looks from people.. but I laugh when I manage to get around and they dont.
nothing worse than RWD auto's, bmw's and merc's etc etc they get stuck on 1cm of snow.
