Default 2.1 Zetec Turbo management?

What aftermarket management have people chosen for their zt's? Pro's & Con's plus costs?

The time has come to ditch the 0FAB so am loooking at Omex initially either 600 or 710. Is the 710 a worthwhile expense over the 600?

The 710's main advantage is sequential ingnition but is a good few hundred quid more then the 600. Personally i went the 600 as it is a pretty good ECU and has alot of extra's such as anti lag and launch control etc etc.

Have you ever looked into KMS management?? Its pretty shit hot from what i have seen of it!

Both the Zetec Turbo's I've built have been on Omex 600. Drove very nicely and was happy with the features. Obviously a lot of how it drove was down to the mapper.

I've got a couple of other mates with big power cars on it, all seem good if that helps at all.

Christian and Beccy went from a 600 to 710 I believe so they could break downt he advantages I'd imagine.

It was because of a conversation with Christina yesterday that I've been looking at the Omex, seems a popular choice.

Choose a mapper first then ask him what he recomends.

One of the main reasons i'm moving from 0FAB is because I dont want to be tied into getting Ahmed to map it again and not many people want to touch it or are able to to his level. No disrepect to him like but I want to deal with a tuner that isn't nigh on impossible to contact to discuss things.

It was Christian that suggested I move from 0FAB, if I do then APT will most likey map it, having used them a few times I trust their skills and professionalism.

Then you have found your mapper and what they prefer.

Yeah I remember Sunny busted it! Pulled out the rocker studs iirc. Not aware of my car being on any site? Its the same basic engine spec but bodywork is stripped, carbon bonnet & tailgate, lightened wherever possible. Should be considerably lighter than before. The aim was to run exactly the same setup but a change in intercooler, fuel pump, fuel cell, filter etc means it will most likey need a remap so I might as well go for a decent management and inlet fanimold at the same time. It's still running std rods so cant go too much past 300 yet but can certainly take advantage of features like launch control & full throttle changes.
