Default Anyone help with boost problem?

Evening all!

Ive posted about this before but still having the same problem!

Basicly had a bump in my S2 but only damage was front bumper and rad. Ever since ive fixed them the car wont boost up AT ALL! It dosnt sound like a boost leak beacause im not getting and "hissing" as you normally would. Ive had intercooler tested and its fine. Checked turbo/manifold/elbow etc and all looks like it should.

Anyone got and final ideas or what i can check before i take it to a tuner to get it looked at?

Starting too really peeeee me off now because weather is getting good and the S2 is sat in the garage!

Cheers

Matt

and you have looked at obvious things, Bar is not broken/bent on actuator? (from impact)

are you 100% there is not a split in a pipe?

You mean when turned off i take it and turning by hand?

I would imagine he would hear a noise if there was a problem there.

get the actuator off and have a better look, possibly replace.

The accident could be a massive coincidence dont forget lol

Turbo spins fine with no play.

Yeh i thought it might me just a coincidence lol but where the rad split it had hit the actuator so just had a look and it looks as if it was holding the penny wheel open...Actuator arm was very stiff (no in and out movement).

why dont you pop the actuator off and make sure the arm/penny is not broken and spinning around.

should the wastegate not be held shut?

definitely check the small pipes from actuator and turbo. I would have thought he would have checked these already though.

youre not running a bleed valve are you?

your waste gate should be held shut untill it reaches your boost pressure, and then it lets the boost off ?

Na not running a bleed valve. And yeh i checked all vac pipes for splits and they were all fine.

When i looked at the actuator arm it looked like its holding the wastgate open slightly...could the knock from the rad have caused this?
