Default insurance for a ERST is bloody 850 quid TPFT !!

this is with aderan flux

just got a quote to swap my insurance over from a 141 bhp 2.0 zetec xr2i to a escort rs turbo thats only got a zorst and air filter

my fiesta is 500 a year with all mods declaired like omex ecu alloys powerflow exhaust etc...

and theay wanted another 130 quid of me to cover until apri (renewal date)l!!! FFS!

seems a better idea just to turbo my fiesta lol

i think im going to have to keep the 2.1 zetec turbo job hush hush if i get the Escort RS

i think il grab my years ncb and start looking else where

so where do you lot get cheap inshurance for your RS ?

I paid about £850 TPFT to insure my RST when I first got it.

Now I pay £600 Comp + protected no claims with all bits declared and the wife on the policy as a named driver

Thats not really a bad price TBH

I first paid £950 tpf&t at 21 with 0 years NCB, 3 points and one 5k insurance claim in my history.
Just renewed with Adrian Flux at £595 tpf&t, with limited miles of 3000. Ive also now got 8 points and one years NCB.
