You need a modified engine mount to actually make it fit other than that fairly straight forward. Few little things like water pipes being wrong size etc
hi mate iam not 100% sure as i have never done anything with the st170 engine but i think people say its more similar to the silvertop zetec than the blacktop , yes you can turbo the st170 engine and i think ian howell at area six/fiesta frenzy can get you forged pistons and rods and anything else you need for the conversion
Is it easy to have a zetec engine put into a rs turbo escort?I know id have to get new management.
now mate i am on with doing the conversion now and its straight forward enough but its the little bits that am stuck on like what pistons and rods to use . every thing else i have . but if you need a list of the things i have then pm me and i will let you no dean
Had some major troubles with driveshafts but sorted that now. Not much room in a mk1 so had to weld water pump and alternator bracket to move it over. Not far at all now really.
