omex was an option. went to AVA an they told me that u couldnt map frst management!
i now know that you can
. I'v heard good and bad things about the uni-chips. now know they are bad. cheers guys.

theyre not "bad" as such, they do what theyre designed to do very well.
thing is people think that a uni-chip is like any other kind of "chip" whereas infact theyre a whole other type of device completely...

A unichip works by altering signals to and from the ECU. It "Interfaces" the existing system.
As its an addon, it cannot remove ecu safety limitations so your fiesta would need a "conventional" piggyback chip in it to remove/alter the boost and rev limits anyway.

I did fone them couple of months ago an they said no problem. not 100% happy with rest of car yet. will see about getting it done june or july perhaps.
