AG Focus write off?
I was over at the end of the 0-60 strip and heard the crash.
Managed to get to the barriers in time see the rescue truck arrive. I shot a couple of minutes of the rescuse guys around the car. Will see if there is anything worth posting once i have captured all the tapes into the puter.

never got to see you after andrew but im really sad to see this, gutting, but your ok, the car is repairable, im sure it will be back out and wiping the floor with everything in a couple of months
My wife is visably upset. We both loved the cars today and this is a shock to the system.
Awesome driveing from the two of you and im just glad i got to see it in the flesh before the crash
As said already its only a car and im glad youre ok.
Im sure it will turn out better than ever!

We were by my car when we herd a very big bang me and my mate said it was just a car back fireing and my wife said no that was a car hitting somthing very hard with that we sore some smoke and heads were turning . we went and had a look and i just could not beleve wot i was seeing . im just so glad that they got out of it ok and it just gose to show ANDY can build a car that will save your life when you need it most
Me and Helen were out in YUM on the same session, came round the bend and saw it there, didnt look too bad as we drove past, but having seen it on the trailer it was obviously one hell of a whack.
Didnt look like the strut tops had move much if it all, in fact the whole main body of the cage looked to still be in one piece, just the outer tubing that went out to the bumpers etc that was badly bent.
Im sure its repairable by a man of andy's talents if he so wishes, but that was one hell of a whack.
Certainly know who to go to if I ever need a VERY strong and still light car building for me though, how well it took that impact is a real testament to how well built it was, I hate to think how much worse my own car would come off from a similar impact!
Really puts into persepective how dangeous our hobby really is!
Glad to hear you are OK Andy mate, and Im sure you will take this in your stride as you always seem to with everything that happens!

Glad he's ok - looks a nasty one
Such a shame, this car looked like it was going to be THE ford of 2009, having said that it'll be probably back out by sept and Driven hard again

Glad to hear you are ok tho apart from a few bruises that are going to make you ache tomorrow!

Well done to silverstone for how they handled it and everything else today, very impressed with how quickly he was taken to the medical centre etc, they seemed really on the ball today.
Just spoke to charlie shaw there he was saying him & martin hadland were having a little scuffle charlie out braked martin into a corner handbraked it full side on waving at martin
charlie was on road tyres.
He did say he got a big fright turning the corner seeing andy lying out his car

Gutted for Andrew though
Such a shame
On the other hand tho atleast their were no injuries, a car is a car at the end of the day.
Even though you have crashed it atleast it show what such a strong and light car it it.

Our stand was on the high ground near the complex and as soon as we saw the car come round on the recovery truck, everyone just ghasped!
Glad there was no serious injuries, as impressive as it was, it is only a car, the people inside matter more.
Glad to hear it's being rebuilt though, heard lots of rumours that it was beyond repair, which I found quite surprising to be honest!

Glad Andy is ok... was worried to fuck today when Chip phoned to ask how we were getting on with the Tigra and told me!
Seems like a good opportunity to put it to one side and have a relax for a while before making some decisions imo

Seriously though, thats good news, I figured with it landing on its wheels it would just stall and be ok.
Obviously worth checking the mains and big ends etc when its out the car soon though just to be sure.
